Youtube is terribly addicting on its own as I've spent the last hour and half watching Olympic vids.  I've watched a bunch of videos featuring various big Olympic moments (from Dan Jansen FINALLY winning a gold medal in '94 to Kerri Strug's final vault in '96), Olympic torch relays into the various stadiums, various lightings of Olympic cauldrons, and a multitude of closing montages of Olympic images.  Gosh, I love this stuff.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR FEBRUARY 2010.  VANCOUVER!  WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES!!!  Squeeee.

Clearly I'm excited, LOL.

I still wish Michelle Kwan would have chosen to compete.  I know she wasn't what she used to be, but it's MICHELLE KWAN.  No one skates like her.  NO ONE.  Sigh.

Texas beat Texas Tech 34-24.

Shaky first half and a crazy 2nd half where the Horns showed up but the defense went from fired up to sputtering.

We won.

Whew.

I finished Julia Quinn's When He Was Wicked last night.

( Some thoughts. )

College World Series.

Game 1.  Opponent was Southern Mississippi.  Shoddy defense and a poor bullpen showing and Texas manages to accomplish a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth to win 7-6.

Game 2.  Opponent was Arizona State.  Texas is down 6 runs and manages to score 6 runs in the top of the 4th.  Arizona wouldn't score for the rest of the game and Texas wins 10-6.

Game 3.  Opponent is once again Arizona State.  It's a see-saw battle where ASU would score first and then Texas would come back and score to match ASU.  Again, spots of shoddy defense and it's the bottom of the ninth and Texas is down a run with one out.  Cameron Rupp comes up to the plate and hits a home run into center field (very hard to do at Omaha!) to tie.  One out later Connor Rowe comes up to the plate and hits a walk off homerun to win the game 4-3.

I think I've died way too many times watching those three games.  I'll take those wins!

WE'RE IN THE FINALS!!!  LSU watch out!

Texas, I only ask that you play to your USUAL standard of defensive awesomeness and stop being dramatic and just win a game efficiently please.  Please?

It's Top Chef with established chefs instead of up and coming chefs, and the chefs are playing for charity.  This should be interesting and mouth watering all at the same time.

Good thing Bravo repeats episodes like 5 times a week.

So today kicks off the medical mystery storyline!

So far I think it rocks!!!

I know I know.  It wasn't a full love scene and they made Patrick leave in the middle to check on the demon spawn.  Ugh.

BUT...

Today's scenes had good dialogue, lots of kissage, and happiness.  Kisses in EVERY SEGMENT they were in!  Reiterations of love from the both of them.  I really felt like they have finally put most of the PPD stuff behind them now!  Yay!  May it never be uttered again.  Plus, hearing Emma's happy babble through the monitor?  Loveeeeeeeeeee.

So I give today a CRIMSON for super squee!  I feel the caps will say it all!

So I attended a wedding of a friend and as a result of dancing all night, I'm soreeeeeee.  Well, my legs and feet are.  XD

Perhaps I was a bit overzealous when I got everyone to line dance and then started a random conga line later that went on for a good 5-10 minutes.  I did my cardio for the week last night.  LOL!
